The 9th annual There is Hope walk takes place along Sheboygan’s scenic lakefront. Along with the walk, there will be a brat fry, music, bucket raffles, a silent auction, plus much more! The Sheb CO Veterans Memorial announcing their 20th anniversary and is having The Wall That Heals come to Sheboygan. The Wall is a ½ scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. It will be escorted by the American Legion Riders on Tue Aug 19. Set up on the grounds of the Sheb CO Veteran’s Memorial. Open to the public Wed Aug 20 – Sun Aug 24 6:00PM. Ride a classic Vietnam era Huey Air Ambulance helicopter for a membership fee amongst other free attractions. A re-dedication ceremony on Sat Aug 23 @ 1:00PM. A brat fry will be held on the day of the ceremony.

Sunday, August 24th at Sheboygan’s South Pier

(Sheboygan, Wisconsin) The 29th Annual Custom Car Show sponsored by the Kettle Moraine Corvette Club will be held on Sunday, August 24th at Sheboygan’s South Pier District, adjacent to Blue Harbor Resort and Conference Center from 8am – 4pm, rain or shine.

Open to the public, the Kettle Moraine Corvette Club (KMCC) organizers and hosts of the Custom Car Show invite auto enthusiasts of all ages to stop by and enjoy the beautiful waterfront setting as well as view the 200 plus cars anticipated to register. Concessions and music will be available on site through-out the day. Concession sale proceeds will stay in the community and benefit local charities. Over the years, car show proceeds have been donated to many worthy causes including the Salvation Army, Sheboygan County Cancer Care Fund, Sharon S. Richardson Hospice, Boys & Girls Club, Sheboygan County Historical Museum and more.

Space is still available for anyone wishing to show their car, all makes and models in show condition are eligible on August 24th. Over 25 classes of vehicles will be on display. Walk-in show registration will be accepted at $10 per vehicle. Class trophies will be awarded at 3pm.
